What is a CSA exactly?
First of all, CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. CSA’s are a way to support farmers with early-season income to pay for things like seeds, tools, and infrastructure projects. In return, we give you a weekly box of the bounty from our farm.
Part of the support also means adopting an understanding that if the season is harsh due to drought or inclement weather, the box size will reflect this. As well, if the season is lush, the boxes will be bursting with veggies!
